Elon and Vivek lead the new “Department of Efficiency”. It looks like a joke as applied to the US government style. At the same time, “efficiency” in the key word or tool to fight bureaucracy. The bureaucracy is immortal and is protected by law. It's impossible to fire a bureaucrat defended by a legal contract. There is an easy opportunity, however. It is called restructuring. Any bureaucratic entity has to be efficient as it spends taxpayer's money. Elon and Vivek are in charge on to measure this efficiency in digital approach. It's important that they are two (three would be better), i.e., a commission, not director or head. When they define any other Department as an inefficient in the key activity, restructuring follows up. All bureaucrats lose their powerful positions as such. They are not fired but worthless. Some AI (Elon) is the best way to replace as many bureaucrats as possible in simple capacities. The team training this AI is the next Demiurge.
Efficiency measuring and restructuring of the US government, we will see after January 20, 2025. As a matter of fact, Trump does not need an experienced bureaucrat to run any Department. He needs brave men and women to sign restructuring orders.
